Kaylee is a dedicated public relations professional and strategic communicator serving as the Director of Operations and Brand Strategy at Steer PR. In this role, she oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations, drives brand development initiatives, and ensures alignment between client objectives and creative execution. Her work spans campaign strategy, content development, media relations, and organizational planning—helping mission-driven clients communicate with clarity, credibility, and impact.
Before joining Steer PR, she served with Gold Star Teen Adventures, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering the surviving children of fallen military personnel, first responders, and intelligence officials. There, she led the organization’s digital media strategy, strengthened donor and community relations, and supported both local and national fundraising efforts.
Earlier in her career, Kaylee worked at Eielson Air Force Base, serving as executive assistant to the Force Support Squadron Commander within the 354th Fighter Wing. That experience instilled a deep appreciation for leadership, service, and communication within the military community—values that continue to inform her work today.
A Florida native, Kaylee has lived and traveled around the world as both a military child and spouse. She earned her B.S. in Strategic Communications from the University of South Alabama and her M.S. in Communications, with an emphasis in Public Relations, from the S.I.
