Kaylee is a dedicated public relations professional with unique experience in multimedia storytelling, non-profit communications, content creation, brand management, and writing. Prior to joining Steer PR, she worked with Gold Star Teen Adventures, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the surviving children of fallen military personnel, first responders and intelligence officials.
In her role with GSTA, Kaylee developed and maintained the organization’s digital media strategy, donor and community relations, and assisted with local and national fundraisers. Before GSTA, Kaylee spent time at Eielson Air Force Base working as the executive assistant to the Force Support Squadron Commander within the 354th Fighter Wing.
Kaylee is a Florida native but has lived and traveled the world as a military child and spouse. She graduated from the University of South Alabama with a B.S. in Strategic Communications and received her M.S. in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Kaylee currently lives in Charlottesville, Virginia with her husband, Trase, and their two Australian shepherds.
